What type of therapy do you provide?

Over the years I’ve gained experience in several Evidence Based Practices (EBPs) that are incorporated to assist you with your recovery journey.  These include ACT, ERP, and CBT.  You can learn more on the Services page on this website.

How long do people stay in therapy?

This is an individual decision that belongs to you.  For some therapy is short term, and for others it is a longer journey. Each individual’s situation is unique so there is no one size answer for this question.

Do you take insurance?

I'm a private-pay, out-of-network provider. While I don't accept insurances directly, your insurance may have out-of-network benefits, which means that they will provide partial reimbursement for the cost of therapy services. There are a few options for receiving out of network insurance reimbursement. I have partnered with Thrizer, a payment application that handles out of network insurance submissions of superbills automatically for you, and allows you to track the progress.  Thrizer has two options, and you can learn more here. Thrizer.

Thrizer is designed to reduce the out-of-pocket cost for therapy and takes the stress out of submitting superbills to your insurance on your own, which can be time consuming.

Thrizer is an option, if you decided you are not interested, I will provide you with superbill that you can submit to insurance if you have out of network benefits.  Your insurance company will advise you on how to submit for reimbursement.  It is important that you confirm out out of network benefits and your annual decidable.

What is your fee for therapy sessions?

The fee for therapy is $225 per session. I partner with Thrizer, a payment platform designed to reduce the out of pocket cost of therapy, and the hassle of submitting a superbill to your insurance company.  Learn more at Thrizer

How will I know if therapy is helping?

When OCD and Anxiety steal less of your time and you are able to engage in your valued life activities.  There are times when therapy is difficult, and recovery is a journey and not an event.  Though the overall goal is for you to engage in life activities that matter most to you.
